My approach
Built on Experience. Driven by Fun. Focused on Your Child’s Growth.
With over 20 years of BMX riding under my belt, I bring a lifetime of passion, skill, and first-hand experience to every session. My coaching isn’t just about teaching tricks — it’s about building confident, capable riders from the ground up.
Each session is thoughtfully designed to be fun, engaging, and child-focused, whether it's one-to-one coaching or small group sessions. I use a proven mix of balance drills, skatepark skills, and confidence-building techniques to help every young rider progress at their own pace — safely and with a smile on their face.
From first pedals to first tricks, I make sure kids feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. My friendly, down-to-earth approach helps them grow not just as riders, but as individuals — developing resilience, coordination, social confidence and a love for active outdoor play.
Over the years, I’ve learned what it takes to progress, stay safe, and most importantly, have fun on a BMX — and that shines through in everything I teach. Whether your child is brand new to skateparks or already rolling confidently, I tailor my coaching to meet them right where they are.
Balance & Coordination
Giving your child the safety and security to feel comfortable enough to try new things and grow into enjoying the process of upgrading how they ride their bicycles.
Where I Coach
I currently offer my 1-1 coaching or group sessions at Kingsbridge Skatepark at the end of the quay. The skatepark is mellow and smooth and this is ideal for beginners learning to balance a bit better and develop some confidence.

‘‘I love riding BMX, the friends I’ve made along the way, the places I’ve visited as a result, the community you immerse yourself in by being a part of the scene. That’s why I do this; to pay it forward and help the next generation.’’
